Here over 8,100 acres of skiable terrain await you on the two mountains of Whistler and Blackcomb, as well as lively apres-ski in the bustling pedestrianised downtown. Then head to the Yukon where the short winter days make it the perfect place to sit out under a clear sky and watch the Aurora Borealis. Whistler
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport where a scheduled transfer awaits to take you to Whistler, travelling up the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway. After checking in to your hotel, you can begin to explore the pedestrianised downtown which has many fantastic restaurants and bars in which to spend the evening.

Whistler
Spend 4 days skiing the two mounts of Whistler and Blackcomb. Offering over 8,100 combined acres of skiable terrain, more than 200 marked trails, 3 glaciers, 37 lifts and 16 alpine bowls you’ll be hard pushed to explore it all. Whistler is the perfect versatile resort for families and groups of friends of mixed skiing abilities. Most of the runs are intermediate level but there is a ski school and plenty of long, gentle runs leading right into the village. Away from the slopes there are plenty of other activities to keep you entertained such as snow-shoeing, ice skating, snowmobiling even bobsleigh!

Whitehorse
A scheduled transfer will take you back down to Vancouver Airport in time for your flight to Whitehorse. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be greeted by a local representative of Northern Tales Travel Services, who will welcome you to the Yukon and transfer you to your hotel. Once you have checked in, you will receive an orientation meeting describing what to expect during your stay. The rest of the day is yours until your first evening viewing of the Aurora Borealis. Departing the hotel at 22:00 in groups, you will be taken to a prime viewing area and treated to snacks and hot drinks during your viewing. Contemplate the sublime beauty of this fascinating array of blues, reds, greens and violets in this idyllic setting as you relax in a cosy heated cabin or walled tent. Return to the hotel at approximately 02:30.

Whitehorse
Your day starts with a tour of the scenic city of Whitehorse, a former gold rush settlement set against a stunning backdrop of mountains. Discover the highlights of this town such as Main Street, the Train Depot of White Pass, Log Skyscraper, Log Church, the Sternwheeler SS Klondike, fish ladders and Schwatka Lake. Afterwards, take the opportunity to relax in the warm comfort of the hotel as in the evening you will have another opportunity to view the Aurora Borealis. While waiting for the lights to appear, enjoy a roaring bonfire and roast marshmallows.

Whitehorse
The day is yours to relax in the warm comfort of the hotel or perhaps book an optional activity such as dogsledding. This 2-hour tour will allow guests to explore the beautiful backcountry by dogsled. Take in the amazing views of the Fish Lake Area and learn about the dogsledding history and life as a musher both then and now. Visit a race checkpoint and a prospector cabin before enjoying the roar of a campfire while roasting treats and sipping on tea or hot chocolate. This evening head out again for your last chance to view the Aurora Borealis.

Vancouver
You will be transferred to Whitehorse Airport in time for your flight back down to Vancouver, where on arrival you will transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Take time to explore this enchanting coastal city. Take a stroll round Stanley Park, head over to Granville Island to discover a world of food, art and culture, visit the historic district of Gastown, which is home to fabulous restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops or take flight at Flyover Canada.

Fly Home
After some last-minute shopping and sight-seeing, your epic Canadian adventure has come to an end. Transfer independently to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home.
