The hotel is minutes’ from Craigflower Farmhouse and School, which are both historic sites and offer fascinating insight into the original pioneering era, as the oldest public buildings still standing in British Columbia.
You are also close to the Canadian Forces base at Esquimalt, which has an interesting museum where you also can view the naval ships in the harbour through binoculars.
Downtown Victoria is just a short drive away, with some fantastic shopping districts and plenty of attractions including the outstanding Royal BC Museum, the beautiful harbourfront buildings and the varied landscapes of Beacon Hill Park.
