Banff
Arrive at Calgary International Airport, pick up your hire car and head straight for the mountains! Your destination is the charming mountain town of Banff which is just 90 minutes away. Here you will have the evening free to stroll down Banff Avenue and take your pick from the wide array of restaurants. Afterwards stroll the riverside path to the beautiful Bow Falls.
Yoho National Park
Drive up the Bow Valley Parkway, stopping at viewpoints over Morant’s Curve and Castle Mountain and talking a walk at Johnstone Canyon. Continue to Yoho National Park, making stop at the spectacular Natural Bridge on the way to your accommodation situated on the edge of the sparkling Emerald Lake. Go for a hike on the path that encircles the lake, or simply sit back and relax on the patio and admire the views.
Icefields Parkway
Travel north on one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. After photo stops at Bow Lake and the iconic Peyto Lake, stop at the Columbia Icefield, one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. First, ride onto the Athabasca Glacier aboard a massive Ice Explorer before disembarking onto ancient ice. Then, marvel at the breathtaking Sunwapta Valley from above atop the glass-floored skywalk. After lunch with a view on the patio at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Adventure, head back down the Icefields Parkway to Lake Louise stopping at points you may have missed such as The Big Bend and Weeping Wall.
Lake Louise
Spend the day at Lake Louise, one of the most photographed lakes in the world. There is plenty to see and do here so take a canoe out on the lake, hike up to the Lake Agnes Tea House, have lunch at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise or visit the nearby Moraine Lake for breath-taking views down the Valley of the Ten Peaks.
Banff
Head back to Banff and you will now have time to explore the town and the surrounding National Park. If you want a day off from driving, then Banff has plenty of attractions in easy access of the town centre such as Lake Minnewanka, the historic hot springs and the Banff Gondola.
Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From inside Rocky Mountaineer's signature glass dome carriages you will see dramatic changes in the scenery as you travel from the snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior.
Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver
Step back on-board Rocky Mountaineer as you continue west towards the Pacific Ocean. On today's journey you will see more changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the B.C. interior through winding river canyons and past the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley.

*This is a sample itinerary that may vary by sailing date.
At Sea
Sail north towards Alaska and take some time to explore the ship. There’s always something happening on board — from heading to the Princess Theatre for a lavish original musical production to enjoying a blockbuster movie poolside under the stars. Or perhaps indulge in a manicure, pedicure or a makeover in the salon, or a soothing massage in the Lotus Spa.
Juneau
Juneau is unlike any other city in the United States. With no roads connecting it to the rest of Alaska or North America, it is truly a protected destination. Founded as a gold mining town and now the state’s capital, Juneau has one foot in history and one in the future. Embark on a whale watching tour, or sail past Mendenhall Glacier on an Alaska cruise.
Skagway
Once the gateway to Alaska's Gold Rush, Skagway strikes a dramatic image nestled between the water's edge and mountains. Follow in the footsteps of miners with a ride on a scenic train along the famous White Pass route through coastal mountains. During your Alaska cruise, explore the Yukon's pristine wilderness, pan for gold with professionals or meet sled dog puppies in training.
Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier
On this day of scenic cruising, you will sail up Endicott Arm, a jewel in Alaska’s crown. This 30-mile waterway is surrounded by cliffs, valleys, and dozens of waterfalls. Icebergs and harbour seals decorate the water below while Dawes Glacier soars into the sky above. Revel in the beauty of Mother Nature’s masterpiece and listen closely as the scenery whispers secrets of times long ago during your cruise to Alaska.
Ketchikan
Known for its timber, Ketchikan hosts the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show, where athletes throw, race, and chop their way to victory. Explore one of the world’s oldest collections of totem poles at the Totem Pole Heritage Center or stroll along Creek Street. As the salmon capital of the world, Ketchikan’s waters make for incredible fishing. Cast your rod into a sea of opportunity on a cruise to Alaska.
Inside Passage
Sit back and relax as you cruise the famed Inside Passage, a spectacular route through a protected network of waterways, featuring glacier-cut fjords, lush rainforests, and diverse wildlife. Now’s the time to revisit your favourite restaurant, Princess Cruises is committed to serving mouthwatering, handcrafted dishes made from scratch so it’s sure to be a difficult choice!
Vancouver
Disembark your cruise in Vancouver where you now have time to explore this enchanting coastal city. Take a stroll round Stanley Park, head over to Granville Island to discover a world of food, art and culture or take a shuttle bus over to the North Shore and the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 70 metres over the Capilano River.
Fly home
Your adventures in Canada and Alaska have come to an end. After some last-minute sightseeing and shopping, transfer independently to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home.
