Toronto
Arrive at Toronto’s International Airport and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Pick up your information kit at the front desk upon check-in. The remainder of the day is at leisure to explore Canada’s commercial and cultural centre.
Niagara Falls
Enjoy a full-day excursion to Niagara Falls. The route travels through the lush fruitgrowing district of the Niagara Peninsula to the spectacle of Niagara Falls. Board the Niagara City Cruises by Hornblower Voyage to the Falls Boat Tour for a spectacular boat trip to the foot of the Horseshoe Falls. Ample time will be spent at the falls to give you every opportunity to take pictures and admire the thundering waters. Highlights include a lunch and a trip along the beautiful Niagara Parkway which winds its way along the Niagara Gorge. Pass through the historic community of Niagara-on-the-Lake before returning to Toronto. Lunch included.
VIA Rail - The Canadian to Jasper
Transfer independently to Union station to board VIA Rail's The Canadian en route to western Canada. Travelling north of the Great Lakes, view the rugged terrain of the Canadian Shield, some of North America’s oldest rock formations. Rich in minerals and forests, the region is dotted with thousands of freshwater lakes. The train crosses the border into the province of Manitoba and stops briefly in its capital, Winnipeg, before crossing the vast expanses of prairie flatland in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Soon you will be approaching the imposing silhouette of the Rocky Mountains. Enjoy the spectacle of nature as the train enters Jasper National Park. Arrive at Jasper train station and transfer independently to your hotel.
Jasper
You have a free day in Jasper to relax in the town's numerous cafes or explore the surrounding national park. An hour from Jasper is the famous Maligne Lake where you can take a boat cruise onto Spirit Island. Look out for wildlife, Jasper is known for the herd of Elk that graze on the outskirts of town.
Lake Louise
Travel from Jasper to Lake Louise on one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. You will stop at the Columbia Icefield, one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you will ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier to learn about its geological features. Lunch is provided at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre. Afterwards, a brief stop will be made at Bow Lake before arriving in Lake Louise in the afternoon.
Banff
After a relaxing morning in Lake Louise, you will be transferred to Banff have free time to explore this mountain town which has plenty to see and do, from relaxing in the historic hot springs to outdoor wildlife adventures. The next morning, you discover the town of Banff and its natural surroundings on a comprehensive sightseeing tour. The tour will show you some of Banff National Park’s many highlights, including the Hoodoos, curiously shaped by centuries of erosion, Surprise Corner and Tunnel Mountain Drive, overlooking the beautiful scenery of the Bow River Valley
Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops
Travel on board the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops, in the heart of British Columbia's interior. From inside Rocky Mountaineer's signature glass dome carriages you will see dramatic changes in scenery as you travel from the snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the interior.
Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver
Step back on board Rocky Mountaineer as you continue west towards the Pacific Ocean. On today's journey you will see more changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the B.C. interior through winding river canyons and past the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. By early evening you will arrive in Vancouver, a vibrant and diverse city surrounded by mountains and the ocean.
Vancouver
Today you are free to explore the enchanting coastal city of Vancouver. With the included Hop On Hop Off pass, it's easy to take in the sights. Take a stroll round Stanley Park, head over to Granville Island for lunch and then explore the historic districts of Yaletown and Gastown.
Victoria
This full-day trip to Victoria begins with a cruise through the scenic Gulf Islands and includes a visit to the acclaimed Butchart Gardens. Afterwards continue to Victoria for a city sightseeing tour that encompasses Victoria’s stately homes and gardens as well as historic landmarks. You will see the University of Victoria and Beacon Hill Park and pass the Royal British Columbia Museum, Thunderbird Park, the Parliament Buildings and the exclusive homes of the Uplands and Oak Bay. You will return to Vancouver in the early evening.
Fly home
Your epic Canadian adventure has come to an end. Transfer independently to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home.
