Vancouver
After arriving independently at your downtown hotel explore one of the most liveable cities in the world, Vancouver. Enjoy a relaxing walk or cycle around the seawall of Stanley Park, explore the North Shore via Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and Grouse Mountain, or indulge in the culinary delights at Granville Island, an indoor market featuring colourful food, produce stores and farmers stalls.

Holland America Line*
Independently make your way down to Canada Place, Vancouver’s iconic cruise terminal where the white sails of Canada Place beckon you. Once on board settle into your cabin or grab a drink on deck in preparation for sail away.
*This is a sample itinerary that may vary by sailing date.

Inside Passage
Enjoy the on-board facilities on your Holland America Line ship whilst you pass through a renowned cruising route. Featuring glacier-cut fjords, lush rainforests & diverse wildlife it’s the perfect way to kick off your Alaskan adventure.

Ketchikan
Known for its timber, Ketchikan hosts the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show, where athletes throw, race, and chop their way to victory. Explore one of the world’s oldest collections of totem poles at the Totem Pole Heritage Center, before heading over to the Saxman Village for a chance to see Tlingit culture in action, with working carvers or a dance show in the clan house. Be sure to stroll the historic Creek Street, a boardwalk over the Ketchikan Creek for souvenirs, smoked salmon and local art.

Juneau
Juneau is unlike any other city in the United States. With no roads connecting it to the rest of Alaska or North America, it is truly a protected destination. Founded as a gold mining town and now the state’s capital, Juneau has one foot in history and one in the future. Embark on a whale watching tour, hike up Mount Roberts or sail past Mendenhall Glacier.

Skagway
Once the gateway to Alaska's Gold Rush, Skagway strikes a dramatic image nestled between the water's edge and mountains. Follow in the footsteps of miners with a ride on a scenic train along the famous White Pass route through coastal mountains. Ensure to visit the infamous Red Onion Saloon for an immersive experience of those gold rush days.

Glacier Bay National Park
Sail through one of the most iconic locations in Alaska, Glacier Bay National Park. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to more than 1,000 glaciers. Enjoy the day cruising by calving glaciers, cliff-flanked fjords, and remarkable wilderness.

College Fjord
Out of all of Alaska’s fjords, College Fjord is the most storied. All the glaciers here were names for various schools, those on the left are names for women’s colleges and those on the right for men’s colleges. Scenic cruising of College Fjord allows for close views of many glaciers, including 8 in one sighting. Your chances of watching ice thundering into the icy waters below are high as the Prince William Sound is one of the most active areas for calving.

Denali National Park
Once disembarked you will board the luxurious McKinley Explorer bound for Denali, where you will enjoy a 3-night stay in the heart of Alaska’s most notorious National Park. Spend your evenings in Denali Square around one of the many fire pits listening to live entertainment with your backdrop being the impressive Alaska Range.

Denali National Park
The unforgettable Tundra Wilderness tour is a fully narrated sightseeing excursion taking you into the heart of Denali National Park and allowing the opportunity to spot one of Alaska’s Big Five, grizzly bears, caribou, moose, Dall sheep and wolves. If luck is on your side, you may be able to view the peak of North America’s highest mountain, Denali.

Anchorage
This morning board your motorcoach for the transfer to Anchorage. As Alaska’s largest city it offers fine restaurants, museums, shops, theatres, and an excellent music scene. A must do whilst in Anchorage is the Alaska Native Heritage Center. Offering an in depth look at Alaska life with a big focus on Alaska Natives. Watch dancing. Listen to stories, meet carvers, and hear from artists in an intimate setting.

Fly Home
Spend your final morning exploring downtown Anchorage or a final hike of one of the many trails that surround the city before heading to the airport for your flight home.
