Itinerary

Day 1 – 2 Toronto

Arriving at Toronto Pearson International airport, make your way to your downtown hotel. You can spend the rest of your day finding your bearings and enjoying the cultural buzz and atmosphere of the city. The next day will be yours to explore this great cosmopolitan city. Visit the CN Tower to take in breath-taking views of the city and surrounding areas and dare to walk on the glass floor. Spend the rest of your day shopping and taking in some of the sights before spending the night in Toronto.

Day 3 - 6 Onboard the Canadian with Via Rail from Toronto to Vancouver

Step aboard the Via Rail train where your true escapade begins. Sit back, relax and get comfortable as you glide along spectacular vistas, golden prairie fields, rugged lake country, waterfalls, and picturesque towns. Just as you think things can’t get any better you reach the Majestic Canadian Rockies, its truly unforgettable! You will be mesmerised by the changing landscape as you’ll never see any other way - with ease, comfort and exceptional service.

Day 7 Vancouver

The city is perched on the glittering Pacific Coast with the majestic Coastal Mountain backdrop making for the perfect destination to continue your adventure. Nestled perfectly between the Pacific coast and Coastal Mountain Range, discover the top attractions, enjoy the vibrant night life in the downtown area. This city offers both all the amenities of a world class city and outstanding outdoor adventure opportunities.

Day 8 Vancouver – Victoria (114km – Includes Ferry)

Pick up your motorhome from the depot and begin your exploration of Vancouver Island. Set off for Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay Ferry the BC Ferries cruise across the Strait of Georgia will transport you to Vancouver Island. Pass the rugged coastline and tranquil beaches of the Gulf Islands. Make your way to Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, with its maritime heritage and colonial charm.

Day 9 Victoria

Today it’s a day to explore this beautiful Garden City! We recommend a stop of at the Butchart Gardens it’s a must see visit with spectacular sights and an array of colours & textures. Enjoy Victoria’s beautiful set at the harbourfront a truly stunning scene.

Day 10 Victoria – Campbell River (265km)

Leaving beautiful colonial Victoria, head up along the north eastern coast of Vancouver Island. Following the Strait of Georgia separating the island from the British Columbia mainland, proceeding along the scenic Malahat Drive, Drive through the lowland valleys, with lush farmlands and gravel-bed rivers teeming with Steelhead trout, enjoying the lovely unspoilt coastal region. Take the short ferry ride from Campbell River to Quadra Island.

Day 11 Campbell River – Port Hardy/ Telegraph Cove (201km)

Continue to the northern-west tip of Vancouver Island to Port Hardy, an exciting opportunity to see killer whale pods & schools of dolphins jumping through the waves in their natural habitat. Cape Scott Provincial Park is truly a hidden gem and recommended must. Located on the northern point of the island and home to fourteen miles stretch of pristine sandy beaches, where seals and sealions frolic off-shore. Then head back on Highway 19 to Telegraph Cove

Day 12 Telegraph Cove

Tucked away on the eastern coast of Northern Vancouver Island, Telegraph Cove has a rich and colourful past and offers the opportunity to explore the pristine ocean shores. The snug little bay bustles with whale watchers, fishermen, boaters, campers and kayakers. This is your chance to hike the legendary Blinkhorn Trail at one of the last boardwalk settlements left on Vancouver Island.

Day 13 Telegraph Cove – Qualicum Bay (299km)

Heading southbound, on today’s drive you can stop-by and visit the Provincial Parks of Morton Lake, Elk Falls and Miracle Beach. Your drive will lead you to Qualicum Bay known as Lighthouse Country. Visit Qualicum Beach during your stay, a small sandy beach perfect for water lovers of all ages, the magic of this Bay should not be missed.

Day 14 Qualicum Bay – Nanaimo (64km)

Relax and unwind today and enjoy the beaches before your next stop Nanaimo. Arriving in Nanaimo park your RV and enjoy a stroll along the Old City Quarter which boosts historic buildings, charming shops and quirky museums.

Day 15 Nanaimo – Vancouver (82km – Includes Ferry) – End of Tour

Today you depart Vancouver Island, Board the BC Ferries vessel and sail across the Strait of Georgia to arrive in Vancouver. Spend some time buying last minute souvenirs before dropping off your rental and checking in for your flight home.
