Vancouver
On arrival to Vancouver International Airport, transfer independently to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city’s many attractions including Stanley Park, Granville Island and Canada Place.
Manning Provincial Park
Pick up your motorhome and after having stocked up on groceries, it’s time to leave the city behind for the great outdoors. It all begins with Manning Provincial Park where you can hire a canoe or hike the trails around Lightning Lake.
Oliver
Continue through the spectacular scenery in Manning Provincial Park as you drive from the forested valleys of the Cascade Mountains to the Okanagan Valley, famous for its wineries and fruit orchards. You have a full day to explore the wineries, why not bring a bottle back to enjoy in the campsite!
Christina Lake
Travel east on the Crowsnest Highway over gentle rolling hills as the mountains of Southern BC begin to come into view. Your destination is Christina Lake, the warmest water of any tree lined lake in Western Canada.
Nelson
Continue to follow the Crowsnest Highway to the historic town of Nelson, nestled in the West-Kootenay mountain range.With over 350 heritage buildings, Nelson has earned a reputation as one of the finest heritage cities in Canada, drop into the visitor centre and get a heritage walking tour map to help you explore. Streetcar #23, in operation since 1924, travels on the waterfront along Kootenay Lake to Rotary Lakeside Park, with its large sandy beach and boat rentals.
Revelstoke
You may be deep in the Canadian wilderness but there's still plenty to see! Drive to the steaming caves of Ainsworth Hot Springs, visit Kaslo, home to the SS Moyie Sternwheeler, and the silver mine of Sandon, now an eerie ghost town. Follow the Arrow Lakes to the alpine city of Revelstoke. Winding 26 kilometres uphill, the Meadows in the Sky Parkway takes you through forests of cedar and hemlock, spruce and fir to the renowned subalpine wildflower meadows of Mount Revelstoke National Park.
Golden
The Trans-Canada Highway leads you past steep mountains and glaciers to Glacier National Park. Watch for mountain goats and bears along the road. Your destination Golden, a small town surround by huge mountains! Visit the Golden Skybridge, Canada's highest suspension bridge. As you walk 426 feet above an expansive canyon, engulfed by the Columbia Valley, the epic views of the Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges will take your breath away.
Banff National Park
Cross over Rogers Pass and pay a visit to Lake Louise, one of the most photographed lakes in the world! As you journey down to Banff, we recommend leaving the highway and driving on the Bow Valley Parkway, stopping at viewpoints over Morant’s Curve and Castle Mountain and talking a walk at Johnstone Canyon to see spectacular waterfalls. You have a full day to explore the charming mountain town of Banff and the surrounding national park. Relax in the historic hot springs, head up Sulphur Mountain on a scenic gondola ride to enjoy incredible views, cruise on Lake Minnewanka or take the riverside path to the beautiful Bow Falls.
Icefields Parkway
Travel from Banff to Jasper on one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. After a photo stop at Bow Lake, stop at the Columbia Icefield, one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle and one of the most accessible icefields in North America. Here you can ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier before stepping out on to the Glacier Skywalk for unobstructed views of the Sunwapta Valley. Continue on the Icefields Parkway, making a stop at Athabasca Falls before arriving in Jasper in the afternoon.
Jasper National Park
Today you have a free day in Jasper to explore the surrounding national park and its majestic scenery. We recommend you book an excursion to nearby Maligne Lake and cruise to Spirit Island, an iconic vista of the Canadian Rockies with distant jagged mountains providing the perfect backdrop. Look out for wildlife, Jasper is known for the herd of Elk that graze on the outskirts of town.
Wells Gray Provincial Park
The Yellowhead Highway takes you through Mount Robson Provincial Park (named after the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies) and the Cariboo Mountains to Clearwater and Wells Gray Provincial Park. This stunning Provincial Park is famous for wildlife, waterfalls and wilderness. Be sure to visit the spectacular Helmcken Falls, which plunges down into mist-filled gorges.
Whistler
Drive through the scenic Coastal Mountains and stop to admire the views at Seaton and Duffey and before arriving at the mountain resort of Whistler. You have a full day in Whistler to kayak on Alta Lake, ride the gondola up Whistler Mountain and enjoy breath-taking views or join a bear-watching tour to go in search of local Black bears.
Nanaimo
Drive the scenic Sea-to-Sky highway along the Pacific Ocean down towards Vancouver. There is plenty to see and do on this journey from stunning waterfalls to a historic copper mine, alpine lakes to stunning vistas. Take the BC Ferries journey from Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo.
Ucluelet
Journey through the rugged interior of Vancouver Island stopping at Cathedral Grove to walk among old growth Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar trees. You will arrive at Ucluelet, stunningly situated on the wild Pacific Coast. Explore the rugged coastline along the network of hiking trails or walk the shoreline of Long Beach. Whale watching in this region is hugely popular so why not join a boat tour in search of marine wildlife?
Victoria
Head back over Vancouver Island and towards Victoria, BC's state capital. Along the way stop by Coombs, an eclectic community famous for the goats that graze on the market roof. The next day you are free to explore British Columbia's capital city. Take a stroll round the harbour, which is lined with historic buildings such as the BC Parliament Building, head over to Fisherman’s Wharf for a fresh seafood lunch or join a whale watching tour and go in search of BC's resident orcas.
Vancouver
Catch the BC Ferries journey from Swartz Bay to Tsawwassen, be sure to grab a seat on the sun deck as this ferry weaves its way through the Gulf Islands. From the RV Park it's an easy SkyTrain into Downtown Vancouver where you can explore, do some gift shopping and enjoy one of the numerous delicious restaurants.
Fly Home
Today your adventure comes to an end, return your motorhome and check in for your flight home.
