Day 1-3

Day 4
Chéticamp
Collect your motorhome and once stocked and ready, begin your scenic drive toward Chéticamp, following coastal roads that hint at the beauty ahead. This Acadian village offers colourful homes, warm hospitality, and quick access to Cape Breton Highlands National Park. After settling into your campsite, stretch your legs with a sunset walk along the shore and prepare for the dramatic landscapes awaiting you on the Cabot Trail.
Day 5
Cape Breton Highlands National Park
Spend the day driving the famed Cabot Trail, a winding route of rugged cliffs, sweeping ocean views, and highland scenery. Stop throughout the day for lookouts, short hikes, or wildlife sightings and take advantage of the many picturesque viewpoints. Continue to Ingonish, known for its beaches and peaceful coves. Day 6
Port aux Basques
Catch the ferry from North Sydney to Newfoundland, watching as the Atlantic stretches endlessly around you. The crossing offers a relaxing break before your Newfoundland adventure begins. On arrival in Port aux Basques, settle into a nearby campground and take in the rugged coastal landscapes that greet you immediately. Explore local viewpoints or enjoy a seaside stroll. Day 7
Corner Brook
Drive north towards Corner Brook, a city surrounded by mountains, fjords, and dense forest. Spend the day exploring scenic lookouts such as Captain James Cook National Historic Site or tackling a local trail for panoramic views of the Bay of Islands. The town’s welcoming vibe, cozy cafés, and waterfront pathways make it an inviting stop. Day 8
Gros Morne - Tablelands
Journey into Gros Morne National Park to experience the mystical Tablelands, where the earth’s mantle rises to the surface in rusty tones unlike anything else in Canada. Join a guided walk or explore at your own pace to learn about its unique geology. Continue to Woody Point, a charming community with artsy shops, colourful houses, and waterfront restaurants. Day 9
Gros Morne – Western Brook Pond
Today’s highlight is the iconic Western Brook Pond fjord. We recommend taking the boardwalk trail across sweeping marshlands to reach the dock and then boarding the boat for a dramatic cruise between towering cliffs and waterfalls. The sheer scale of the landscape is unforgettable.
Take time to explore nearby trails or simply relax and absorb the incredible wilderness.
Day 10-11
St. Anthony
Continue north to St. Anthony, known for iceberg viewing, rugged coastlines, and fascinating Viking history. Explore L’Anse aux Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage Site marking the earliest known European presence in North America. Day 15

Day 18
Overnight Ferry
Begin the leisurely drive toward Argentia, following coastal routes that offer plenty of scenic stops along the way. Enjoy your last glimpses of Newfoundland’s windswept cliffs and wild ocean views before boarding the overnight ferry. Once settled on the ship, take in the sunset from the deck or why not treat yourself to a cabin where you can relax as you sail back toward Nova Scotia.
Day 19
Baddeck
Arrive back on the mainland and make your way to the charming village of Baddeck on Cape Breton Island. Known as the gateway to the Cabot Trail, Baddeck offers beautiful lake views and a welcoming small-town feel. Visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, stroll the waterfront, or simply unwind at your campsite. Day 20
Burntcoat Head Park
