Day 1
Vancouver
Arrive at Vancouver International Airport and transfer independently to the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa where you will stay for the next 3 nights. Perfectly located in downtown Vancouver, head to Coal Harbour for dinner overlooking the water and mountains of the North Shore.
Day 2-3
Vancouver
You have two free days this enchanting coastal city. Take a stroll round Stanley Park, head over to Granville Island to discover a world of food, art and culture or take a shuttle bus over to the North Shore and the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, hanging 70 metres over the Capilano River.
Day 4
Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge
Today transfer to the South Terminal where you will join your float plane for the scenic flight across to Clayoquot sound on Vancouver Island, a true wilderness paradise. Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine and settle into your deluxe tent before sitting down for a gourmet dinner made from locally sourced produce.
Day 5
Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge
The staff at Clayoquot resort remain on hand through out your stay and will ensure you have the best possible visit to their wilderness retreat. During your stay you have a selection of activities included; a 1 hour indulgent spa treatment, a Walk on the Wild Side tour and a ½ day fully guided salt water fishing trip.
Day 7
Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge
There are also numerous other guided activities that you can choose from during your stay including wildlife viewing, hiking, kayaking, horse back riding, mountain biking, archery and rock climbing to name a few. Each evening you can plan the next days activities with the guides, giving you a head start on the day.
Day 7
Tofino
After a hearty breakfast it is time to wish your hosts farewell and board your boat transfer to Tofino. You are venturing into true wildlife territory here: Pacific Rim National Park is a marvel of ecological and geographical diversity. Stay for 3 nights at Pacific Sands Beach Resort, an ocean-front resort on Cox Bay.
Day 8
Tofino
Spend a lazy morning at the resort, enjoying the spectacular ocean-front location, the onsite Spa or perhaps sign up for a surf lesson! In the afternoon head to downtown Tofino and persure the independent boutiques and coffee shops.
Day 9
Tofino
Join a whale watching tour and go in search of the grey whales, that spend the summer feeding in the shallow, sheltered waters of the Broken Island Chain, and for humpback whales as they migrate down the coast from Alaska.
Day 10
Whistler
Today you will leave Tofino behind and fly to Vancouver and transfer up to Whistler where you will stay at the Pan Pacific Mountainside for 3 nights. Stroll the pedestrian downtown, which is home to fabulous restaurants, bars, and souvenir shops and take the gondola up Whistler Mountain to enjoy breath-taking views.
Day 11-12
Whistler
You have two full days to explore Whistler, perhaps taking time to catch the gondola up to the top of Whistler Mountain and enjoy the spectacular views over the Coastal Mountain range. Incuded is an excursion searching for the black bears that reside on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. It's estimated about 50 black bears make their home in the forests and mountains surrounding Whistler and they have adapted to feeding, mating, and hibernating within ski area habitats.
Day 13
Fly Home
Your Canadian adventure has come to an end. After some last minute shopping and sightseeing, a scheduled transfer will take you to Vancouver International Airport for your flight home.
